Decaf Peach Black
Our decaf peach black is a premium whole leaf tea blended with high quality natural peach
flavoring. We use natural CO-2 process to remove caffeine from the tea leaves. CO-2 process allows leaves to retain their
natural flavor and delicate shape.
Peach Iced Tea
This tea makes an excellent iced tea. Here's the recipe we use, which makes 1 gallon of iced tea:
Equipment:
- 1 gallon pitcher
- tea kettle
- infuser tea pot
Ingredients:
- 3 heaping tablespoons peach tea
- 1/3 cup sugar
- water
- ice
We have a 3 quart tea kettle which I fill and bring the water to a boil. While the water is heating you can pour the sugar into the pitcher and put the peach tea into an infuser. When the water has boiled, pour it into the infuser and steep for 3 minutes. When the tea has steeped, pour it into the pitcher.
(My teapot infuser does not hold as much water as my tea kettle so after I have steeped the tea and poured it into the pitcher, I will put the infuser, with the tea leaves still inside, back into the pot. I then slowly pour more water from the kettle through the infuser until the pot is full. At this point I remove the infuser again and pour the tea into the pitcher. I repeat this process until I have used all the boiling water.)
Since the sugar was already in the pitcher it will easily dissolve as you pour the boiling water in. After all the boiling water has been made into tea, fill the remaining capacity of the pitcher with ice and stir. Refrigerate and you have a gallon of refreshing peach ice tea available.
